Guardian Life Limited (GLL) values its ability to contribute to the communities in which we operate.  As the end of 2023 approached, we continued our work through the Caring for the Elderly project, launched in November and executed through the Guardian Group Foundation.

A token of gratitude to the elderly members of our communities, this project was specifically aimed at helping those living in assisted homes, who are sometimes unable to procure basic items, such as food and personal supplies. Staff members across the island donated needed items and distributed them to the various homes within the community.

Among these homes were the St. Monica’s Home for the Abandoned Elderly, located in St. Catherine; the Lucea Infirmary, located in Hanover; the St. Ann Infirmary located in Priory, St. Ann; the Ultimate Care Centre located in Montego Bay and the United Church Senior Citizen Home located in Mandeville.
